AI-Driven Website Redesign
Following Develocity's company rebrand from Gradle, the leadership team needed a new homepage that reflected its new positioning around AI-powered software delivery and context engineering.

The challenge
The company was entering a major brand transition.
The previous homepage no longer reflected the product's new AI positioning or communicated why the platform mattered in an increasingly AI-driven software development landscape.
We had one month to:
establish a new visual direction
communicate a complex enterprise product simply
support evolving executive messaging
deliver something engineering could immediately build
ship 40+ new pages
A new design workflow
Rather than designing static mockups in Figma, I used Claude Design to rapidly prototype production-quality concepts.
Because messaging evolved daily, traditional design handoffs would have created unnecessary rework.
Instead, we treated the homepage as a living prototype.
This allowed us to:
iterate on layouts in minutes instead of days
explore multiple messaging directions simultaneously
validate concepts with leadership before investing in high-fidelity production work
keep engineering involved throughout the process

Brand evolution
One challenge was that visual design and messaging were evolving independently.
While I explored layout, hierarchy, and interactions, our brand designer was simultaneously developing an entirely new visual identity.
Once the new branding was finalized, we applied it across every approved prototype rather than restarting the design process.
That parallel workflow dramatically reduced implementation time.

Designing & building directly in Claude Code
I partnered closely with the CEO, brand designer, and design system designer to bring the new homepage and brand to life.
CEO: Collaborated on positioning, messaging, and overall product narrative
Brand designer: Developed the new visual identity in parallel with the homepage exploration
Design system designer: Helped translate the new brand into scalable, reusable patterns
Engineering: Received a fully realized experience, reducing the gap between design intent and implementation
The result: We could evolve the brand, messaging, and product experience in parallel then quickly apply the finalized system across the entire page without restarting the design process.
